
Is there still room for doubt, pause, emptiness, failure, for not-knowing, wandering, getting lost, absence, imagination, silence, vagueness; for nothing? In a culture where constant activity, production, and consumption are celebrated, emptiness seems taboo. Access to emptiness is forbidden because it undermines the illusion of control and, like idling, threatens the interests of commercial and political systems, which flourish on our constant presence and participation. This performance/demonstration questions and provokes this social pressure, seeks to unlock emptiness, and is looking for an incomplete, shared, and revolutionary space.
